The choir was saddened to hear of the passing away on December, 21, 2018, of Joanne Mackie. She was an original member of the choir at its very beginning in 1971, and has been an active contributor to the GCS every year since, She served as President and more recently as archivist. We will really miss her dedication and passion for choral singing. Things will just not be the same without Joanne among us, as the choir resumes its rehearsals in January for its Spring concert. .
